The Indienne Collection:
The Indienne Collection is inspired by a classic period in history (17th to 19th century), where fabrics and prints travelled from the East to Europe. The Chintz, as it came to be known, became a hallmark style of glazed Indian Calico fabric, that carried rich and intricate motifs and floral patterns, bearing an Eastern stamp.
This collection is my artistic expression of the Chintz style, seen through the lens of India fused with a British aesthetic.
